I have probably bought 20 or 30 Mathis albums over the last 30 years some twice on cassette or vinyl or CD, many sadly lost with house moves and life in general. Its nice to rediscover them via the web these many years later... and yes I still purchase music, but some of this stuff is getting real hard to find. Thanks again.Paulhttp://www.bluemoondesign.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5862915598193771832.post-48340566868643646042017-05-13T00:18:47.934+02:002017-05-13T00:18:47.934+02:00DOWNLOAD LINKS

This is the best Johnny Mathis album I had the chance to listen, even better that "I'm Coming Home" which I also enjoyed very much.

I was told that "Mathis Is" should also be a nice album, soon I'll be looking for a copy to remaster and share here on Stereo Candies. The Candymanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06178375288806264214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5862915598193771832.post-66502898020599442312012-06-21T09:23:51.980+02:002012-06-21T09:23:51.980+02:00P.S. Both Mathis (the extended "Begin the Beguine" and Bristol's "Take Me Down" were core staples (esp the Mathis) of the legendary The Saint club in the East Village. When I was at the 20th annniversary of The Saint (which is now a bank), it was a two day, two night, five or six DJ event, and the final song played (before the "morning/sleaze" music started - the music to wind down the crowd) was "Begin the Beguine". Mathis' great song (produced and written by Thom Bell/Creed) "Life Is S Song Worth Singing" also go heavy play at The Saint.Gregnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5862915598193771832.post-79094385903375627752012-06-21T09:18:12.491+02:002012-06-21T09:18:12.491+02:00one of the finest album covers ever.....with brill...one of the finest album covers ever.....with brilliant design by Columbia in-house guru designer John Berg (look at how the cover reads NY MATHIS (with the rest of JOHN) on the back, esp. since with the Bristol production, this album was anything but the typical group of Mathis covers.....Greg Mitchellnoreply@blogger.com
